PASSHE Faculty Opportunities
Introducing BRIDGE: Building Re-Imagined Instructional Design for Growth & Employability.
The PASSHE Foundation invites faculty proposals to integrate Work-Based Learning (WBL) and/or Industry-Recognized Credentials (IRC) into academic courses across disciplines. We invite submissions that offer students real-world experience, practical skills application, professional connections, and earned industry-recognized credentials to enhance their employability. To broaden impact, funded projects will be shared across the PASSHE system to offer inspiration and be a resource to other faculty members.
RFPs open on February 2, 2026, with a deadline of Friday, March 27 at 5:00 p.m. and offer potential funding under two categories:
Work-Based Learning
Open only to faculty at one of the five WBL pilot schools, which includes Cheyney, Commonwealth, East Stroudsburg, Shippensburg, and Slippery Rock Universities. Awards are determined by the selection committee and can range from $2,500 to $5,000 based on funds available and proposal measured against the scoring rubric.
Industry Recognized Credential
Open to faculty at all PASSHE schools. Awards are determined by the selection committee and can range from $2,500 to $5,000 based on funds available and proposal measured against the scoring rubric.
